Velocity X Components by Aidxn Design

Frameworks

286 Astro components. 270 React components. Declared per component.

Velocity X doesn't claim to work everywhere. It's an Astro-first library with a large React set — every component page states which, because the framework determines what you ship: .astro compiles to pure HTML and CSS with zero client JavaScript; React components are hydrated islands that earn their runtime.

Split by category

The pattern is deliberate: marketing surfaces (heroes, backgrounds, tickers) lean Astro because they render once; application surfaces (Standard Data, Overlays, Navigation) lean React because they hold state.

Common questions

Does Velocity X work with Next.js?
The 270 React components do — they are plain React + Tailwind files with no Astro dependency. The .astro components do not run in Next.js; their equivalents in React-flavoured categories usually cover the same job.
Does Velocity X support Vue or Svelte?
Not today, and this page would rather say that than imply a port exists. The .astro components are framework-agnostic at runtime (they compile to HTML/CSS and can be used in any Astro site regardless of which UI framework the rest of the site uses), but there are no .vue or .svelte component files.
Why is the framework declared per component?
Because "works with everything" is how component libraries lie. Each component page states astro or react, so you know the runtime cost and compatibility before you reach for it: .astro means zero client JavaScript, react means a hydrated island.
